Spring Break sports fans is over. Sorry always wanted to say that. I guess it was fun while it lasted, however I am sad to a point we had to give up one of mine and Ryan's dogs because she kept picking fights with her sister with intention to kill. I guess that was the hardest part of the week. On an more drastic note my brother gave me and my mom a head-cold which i am still fighting. It stinks to be sick during SB but it could have been worse. I feel much better now and just got out of my 2nd class today and decided to update this thing. I guess I had too much time on my hands during SB but I actually watched part of the hearing on MLB and steriods.
For those of you who are supportive of the players and want congress to keep their noses out of baseball i apologize if i offend.
I AGREE WITH WHAT THEY ARE DOING!!!!!!!
(Nice title aint it.)
What do they think they are doing (the players) do they think that they can get away with shooting up on illegal substances? I guess they dont think about what it shows to the younger generation. The dad who spoke in front of the hearing was very to the point and direct on his thinkings because he lived the nightmares that steriods bring because his son (who had taken steriods) killed himself b/c of his use of steroids. WHAT WAS MCGUIRE THINKING!!!! Until a the hearing I was a (fan sortof) supporter of some of the players who were named by Conseco (sorry) to have taken steroids, but after McGuires STUPID saying that he is "not here to talk about the past" I mean that is basically implementing him aint it?
I will shut up about it but of course putting it into perspective to all sports (not just baseball) we need to just quit making the steroids that are hurting our sport I mean wouldnt that solve the problem?
This is the SI (Sports Illistrated) thoughts on the hearing and I thought that it had a good summary of the hearings the hrl is http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2005/baseball/mlb/03/17/mcgwire.congress.ap/index.html
