My Life.......Boring and Exciting at the same time

Today is Saturday so I clean, study and do laundry. I also look at my family tree online and see if it has any new posts so that I can fix it. Its also the day that the computer checks for viruses. But, my favorite thing to do on Saturday's is FISH. But being here in Oxford and even at home I don't always have the time to do it. I guess that you can say that fishing is a family tradition. My Great Grandpa taught me how to fish when I was 2. So I've been doing it for a while. Well back to the Family tree thing...It might help to write down some of the stories that our elders have told us over the years.

For those of you that have no idea what I am really like... Here's a story...........................................

It happened a very long time ago and is very fragmented, I guess why I remember it is because my great Grandpa (Grandpa for the rest of the blog) kept telling me it.

In the Summer of 1987 I moved from California to Mississippi with my family. My Grandpa and my Grandma (his daughter) came out to California to help us move. My Grandpa and my dad drove the UHAUL truck while my Grandma and my mom drove the car with me and my older brother. This is about crossing Arizona, if I remember right, when I got to ride in the UHAUL truck. My Grandpa told me that I was having a blast throwing a ball to him and my dad(who was driving.. I think) in the front seat of the truck. Later when I was back in the car with my mom I decided to open the sugar canister and the windows were down(oops, I was a little twerp I guess).

It is fun to hear about the things I have done as a little girl, but one of my most fondest moments is, of course, with my Grandpa. He always took me everywhere. My mom basically had to give him free reign. I was a TOM-BOY. I knew how to do a lot of things like use a hammer and fish before I could talk very good. But anyway the most favorite moment (besides when I got engaged) was the first time I caught a catfish by myself. Grandpa had to help me hold it up while my mom took the picture because the fish was almost as big as I was.

Well there ya go a little insight of my childhood.

God Bless

(and sorry for the rambling)

Getting Ready for a Wedding

I can't believe it. I'm actually getting ready to have a wedding. Although I don't know where to begin. This can also be a big pain genealogy wise. Just adding all of the people can be a headache. Well between school and packing every thing up its a hassle. I still have a few monthes though to get every thing perfect. Remember just because its cold outside doesnt mean that you dont have to look up genealogy stuff. Just go to websites they usually have a lot of info.

happy hunting and wish me luck
